Charity gig to raise awareness for Island's homeless problem

Poverty and homelessness on the Isle of Man are being highlighted through a gig by local 'concerned citizens'.

'We Shall Overcome' is a charity event taking place across the British Isles - it's a community effort led by musicians and music promoters who want to do something practical to help.

From the 3rd to the 9th of October several thousand musicians will invite audiences to bring goods for food banks or make donations to local projects which aim to help.

The Ballaghs, Tiger T and Matt Kelly will be performing at Noa Bakehouse on Saturday the 8th - tickets cost £5 with money going to the local food bank and Housing Matters.
