Nearly three quarters of Manx phone customers believe being charged for mobile phone contracts after they have expired is unfair.
That's according to a survey commissioned by Sure who say 73% of people would be unhappy at paying fees after the end of their contract.
Sure's Chief Executive, Mike Phillips, says that while Manx consumers are well-informed on such topics, more can be done to increase awareness on the subject.
The practice of charging consumers once their deals expire was condemned by Citizens Advice last year.
