Post Office chairman Stu Peters says no contracts with sub-post offices have been renegotiated or ended in the last year.
He faced a question for written response about the impact of any such negotiations from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
In his reply, Mr Peters said changes to benefits payments, driving licences and car tax means the organisation is moving towards postal-only services under new contracts.
And he added that means some retailers might choose not to extend contracts in future.
