Celtic mosaic goes on display at Town Hall

It was commissioned two years ago to coincide with Tynwald Day - schoolchildren from across the Island helped artist Elaine Edge create the eight feet by four feet structure. 

 

The cross has now been installed in the foyer of the Town Hall - the council leader has described it as a 'potent reminder' of the Island's Viking ancestry.
