Cav Linked With Possible Move to Team Sky
If reports are to be believed things aren’t all rosy with Mark Cavendish in his HTC-Columbia team.
The problems have all stemmed from a rift between Cav and his German teammate Andre Greipel.
Greipel criticised Cavendish for failing to finish recently when defending his Milan-San Remo title last month.
When Greipel suggested they compete together in the Tour De France Cavendish rubbished the idea saying even on bad form he is a far superior rider to his German teammate.
Cav has had a slow start to his season as a tooth infection has drastically halted his rigorous training schedule.
There have been reports of friction with his team also, after they strongly advised him to do the Tour of California instead of the Giro D'Italia, something that went against Cav's wishes.
As a knock on to this he has been linked with a move to British backed Team Sky.
