Cav Leavs Top Sports Awards Empty Handed
Manx Cyclist Mark Cavendish left the Laureus Sports Awards empty handed yesterday after being touted to walk away with the World Breakthrough accolade.
The award went to Racing Driver Jenson Button, whose career skyrocketed in 2009 clinching numerous titles.
Cav is hoping to mimic his season last year, which saw him win big in the Tour De France and establish himself as the best sprint cyclist in the World.
The Manx Missile has started the Tirreno-Adriatico in Italy as his final preparation for Milan-San Remo, an event he dominated last year.
