Manx missile Mark Cavendish is one of the favourites to win this year's Sports Personality of the Year.
The online Betting Guide website says the Douglas-born star has a 9.1 per cent chance of winning the prestigious award.

Cavendish won the fifth stage of his final Tour de France - making a record-breaking 35 career stage wins - and will return to the Island for a lap of honour on Thursday.
