Castletown Commissioners say they will meet with the owner of the Callows Yard complex to try and rectify a dispute over planning.
It centres over the retail units in the town which owner Roy Tilleard wants to convert into residential accommodation.
However it’s not an idea that’s found favour with the commissioners or public – at a recent public meeting the idea was unanimously opposed.
Now Mr Tilleard’s architect says the planning application will be deferred until a meeting with all interested parties is held.
Castletown Commissioners have agreed to the meeting but say they will still be lodging an objection to the original plans.
