A car caught fire on a busy main road earlier this afternoon following an engine fault.
At around 1.35pm fire crews were dispatched to the vehicle on the main road in Union Mills.
The teams used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the blaze.
It has been confirmed that there were no injuries as a result.
The firemen remained on scene for 20 minutes before the blocked road could be reopened.
