Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was doused in paint stripper in Jurby.
The white Nissan Qashqai was targeted between 6pm on Wednesday and 12pm yesterday.
It was parked in the area of the Threshold at the time – no other vehicles were damaged.
Officers say the solvent has caused extensive damage to the paintwork and also considerable upset to the owners.
House to house enquiries have been conducted – anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
