The site of a former airship hangar in Jurby could soon be welcoming campers.
The Isle of Man Kart Racing Association has applied for permission to use its track in Jurby to accommodate overnight camping for members.
Its site was formerly the Advanced Airship Corporation's hangar - the company planned to build 200-foot blimps that could reach 80 knots, but closed down in 1991.
In its application, the Association says it hopes to allow camping between March and December.
