An MHK who has long-since campaigned on the issue has praised the establishment of a new bus service to Cregneash.
Member for Rushen Juan Watterson said it was great news for locals and tourists alike, saying that the "gems" of Cregneash and The Sound had been neglected since the cancellation of the bus service in 2025.
The new 8S route will also directly connect Peel, Foxdale, the Airport, Castletown, Port Erin (via Shore Road) and Port St Mary via the two tourist attractions.
It's hoped it will start operation in time for the school summer holiday.
