Police, on average, have arrested one person a day for drink or drug driving since the start of their Christmas campaign.
The Roads Policing Unit took to social media, saying 'the message is still not getting through'.
The constabulary's anti-drink drive campaign, #DrinkSafeIOM, was launched over two weeks ago.
Officers added there will always be buses, taxis, friends or family that can get you home after you've had a drink.
