A campaign urging motorists to 'slow down for road workers' has been launched following increased reports of inconsiderate and aggressive driving.
It's aimed at protecting people who have to work in the road during their day-to-day jobs, and asks drivers to be mindful of their speed.
The campaign is chaired by the Department of Infrastructure, and includes representatives from Manx Utilities, Manx Telecom, Sure, IOM Energy and Douglas City Council.
MUA Chairman Tim Crookall says all organisations involved record accounts of near-misses, and these examples have led to the launch of the campaign.
