There are calls to increase parking patrols on Laxey Promenade after concerns were raised by local residents.
As a result, Garff Commissioners has contacted the constabulary about raising the frequency of patrols in the area in the coming days and weeks.
The authority adds it's also in touch with the Department of Infrastructure's parking control wardens with a view to requesting their officers can also increase their monitoring there.
Officials took to social media this week to inform people of the latest update.
