A Douglas MHK is asking if the government will overturn the original inquests into the Summerland disaster.
Douglas East member Joney Faragher will put questions to Chief Minister Alf Cannan in the House of Keys next Tuesday.
She wants to know if new inquests will be opened into the 1973 disaster which claimed 50 lives.
Campaigners have long argued the original verdicts of misadventure should be reconsidered.
