Cable and Wireless take legal action against Communications Commission

CWC are asking for a review of the decision by the Communications Commission not to investigate Manx Telecom for an alleged breach of the Fair Trading Condition in their licence.

Cable and Wireless maintains that the current system which sees Manx Telecom charge substantially more to call their mobile customers is dampening competition.

Chief Commercial Officer of Cable & Wireless, Andy Bridson, has said that despite their best efforts the Commission has refused to investigate the matter further, leaving them with no choice but to take legal actions.
