Part of Douglas could go to the polls during TT practice week, to replace a councillor who was jailed for drink driving.
Catherine Turner was sent to prison for 20 weeks on April 13th after admitting the offence.
Now the local authority says it'll hold a by-election to fill the vacancy she leaves in St George's ward.
Nominations close on Thursday, May 4th - if more than one candidate comes forward to contest the seat then polling will take place on Thursday, June 1st.
