A by-election is taking place in Onchan today to elect a new commissioner to represent the area.
Local residents will head to the polls to choose either David Quirk or Kim Corlett to take up the position with Onchan District Commissioners.
The winner will serve in the position until May 1 next year.
Meanwhile, the polling station will be based at The Hub at Onchan Youth & Community Centre on School Road and will be open from 8am to 8pm today.
