Busy Traffic Heading Into Douglas

The traffic is busier than usual today.

There are tailbacks heading into Douglas, police and department of transport workers have been out in the busiest areas this morning to try and ease traffic flow.

The increase in traffic is being put down to road closures and ice still affecting some of the Islands roads.

On the buses today there is again a limited service.

Most buses are running as normal however some of the more isolated routes that are still covered in snow are being avoided.

Pedestrians are also being reminded to take extra care on the pavements.

On update on the bus time table will be given this afternoon.
