Local businesses are being invited to take part in the 2012 Step Scheme.
The Department of Economic Development initiative is seen as a way of utilising some of the Island’s brightest undergraduates who will work on a project of the respective businesses choosing.
Already a record number of applications have been received from local students wishing to undertake projects.
Throughout the eight week placement the students will receive £210 per week from the participating organisation but previous Step placements have shown that host organisations have enjoyed operational improvements substantially greater than the sponsorship amount involved.
Organisations interested in participating should contact Department of Economic Development by e-mail Stepscheme@gov.im
