Two local business organisations have welcomed today's cabinet reshuffle and say they hope for "constructive dialogue" with new Treasury Minister Chris Thomas.
The Licensed Victuallers Association and the Local Economy Forum both say they had concerns about lack of engagement with treasury over April's planned minimum wage rise.
Douglas Central MHK Thomas, who's replacing Alex Allinson, says he'll "take a slower approach to the increase being proposed".
LVA Chairman Andrew Gibbs says he hopes Mr Thomas's appointment will result in a change in approach.
