Thousands Of Pints Expected To Be Sold Daily
Bushy's Beer Tent proprietor Martin Brunnschweiler has described business so far this year as average.
Early figures for bikers making the journey are however very promising, it was feared a large amount would have been deterred following on from last years TT, which came in for heavy criticism for it's general lack of entertainment and variety.
Staples like the Fun Fair and Promenade Entertainment will be making a welcome return however.
It is the 12th year that Bushy’s has had a beer tent at the TT and according to Martin Brunschweiler, over 25 per cent of the brewer’s annual beer production is sold during fortnight.
That's Between 10,000 and 20,000 pints a day.
Martin said last year he seriously considered bringing an end to the Beer Tent due to it not being financially viable, he has since said based on early trade he is happy he opted to keep the tent running for another year.
