Bus Vannin drivers were at fault in more than two-thirds of insurance cases involving buses over the last five years.
The Department of Infrastructure gave figures in response to a Freedom of Information request about insurance claims involving its buses.
It says since 2020, it claimed 391 times - and in 263 cases its drivers were at fault.
It also revealed it had been paid more than £520,000 in insurance over the past five years.
