Bus drivers are to vote over an agreement made yesterday between Unite the Union and Bus Vannin management.
The ballot will take place tonight and tomorrow morning.
Union boss Eric Holmes says if staff accept the agreement, the work to rule will be called off immediately.
A formal statement is to be announced after midday tomorrow.
