Bus Vannin has announced 18 buses could be cancelled today.
Routes at risk include those between Douglas and Port Erin, Ballachrink, Ramsey and Birch Hill.
The disruption will run until 5.10pm.
Isle of Man Transport has apologised and says it will keep passengers updated.
