A union is asking senior teachers if they support a ballot on possible industrial action in a row over alleged bullying.
The National Association of Head Teachers claims the Department of Education, Sport and culture has victimised its members, misusing disciplinary procedures.
The union's executive committee agreed at an emergency meeting to hold an indicative electronic vote to see if members support an industrial action ballot in future.
Voting is due to close this Wednesday, June 18.
