Bruce Anstey wins Supersport race by .77 of a second!

Kiwi racer Bruce Anstey claimed the win in today’s Supersport event, in a race described as motorsport legend Jackie Stewart, as one of the greatest things he’d ever witnessed.

Anstey won by just 0.77 of a second, believed to be the second closest finish in TT history.

Ozzie racer Cameron Donald got a consecutive second placing, with pre race favourite William Dunlop finishing in third.

The race had had two convincing leaders forced succumb to bike difficulties, Michael Dunlop retired on lap three, while Gary Johnson faded on lap four finishing in 28th place overall having to push his bike over the line to record a finish.

The SES TT Zero challengers will have a single practice lap at 3.50pm, and access roads all around the course will be opened between 5pm and 6pm.

At 6.30pm, the Royal London 360 Superstock, over four laps, will begin.
