 
                            Bride Commissioners have hit out at the Northern Civic Amenity Site's board after it wrote to them about funding.
The local authority pulled out of the site in April, claiming it was paying too much for waste collection.
But after the site's board wrote to commissioners to correct what it called misinformation about funding, Bride members reacted with outrage.
Writing to local residents - posting on social media - they describe the letter as "democratic sabotage", adding the parish "won't be bullied, cajoled or brought to heel".
