The Island's Chief Minister says the current situation over Brexit is 'one of the greatest challenges that a Manx government and parliament has ever faced'.
Howard Quayle made the statement in his state of the nation address at the October sitting of Tynwald yesterday.
He added the government's European Union and Trade Bill - due for it's first reading later this month - could be the most important legislation the court needs to consider 'in a generation'.
However, Mr Quayle also says - deal or no deal - officials have planned for any outcome to ensure the Island is as well prepared as possible.
