A break-in and vandalism at the TT Grandstand in Douglas is being investigated by Police.
According to authorities, offenders have broken into the TT timekeeper's hut and taken several items including some distinctive yellow Dunlop TT caps sometime between 4.45pm on Monday, November 30, and 7.30am the next morning (December 1).
It's believed this is linked to damage caused to a building in the Douglas Crematorium between the same date and time.
The constabulary has then received reports that overnight between 7pm on Tuesday, December 1, and 7am the following day (December 2) new damage has been done to the door at the timekeepers' hut where a police cone was set alight.
As a result, officers now want to hear from anyone who witnessed or knows about what's happened - those who think they have information which could help are asked to contact PC Grant at Police Headquarters on 631 212.
Alternatively, any details can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
