Braddan Commissioners’ new leisure centre is opening in the New Year.
It’s had a number of delays and the commissioners have asked the Department of Infrastructure for £3.4 million in financial support, with the potential for rates to be increased to pay for it.
The local authority has named it ‘The Roundhouse’ and the centre manager Cassi McAllister says she’s excited to be welcoming people to the new facility.
She says the new centre will be able to give smaller sports the opportunity to have a ‘top class’ facility.
