Boy receives minor injuries following collision with car

At roughly 3.25pm on Wednesday of last week a 12 year old school boy was injured after he was hit by a dark blue coloured Mercedes People Carrier, similar to a Mercedes Viano.

Luckily the boy only sustained minor injuries.

The vehicle involved entered Barrule Road from Ballanard Road and travelled into Willaston Crescent. The vehicle is described as having smoked out windows and silver alloy wheels.

Police would like to speak to anybody who may have witnessed the incident.
