She beat her Zambian competitor in two games, sending her through to today's match.
Elsewhere, Kiera Prentice took part in the last swimming event of the games - the Women's 400m Freestyle - finishing with a time of 4 mins 48.86 seconds.
Looking ahead, boxer Jade Burden will go up against England's Gemma Richardson in the women's quarter finals this afternoon.
Meanwhile, cyclist Leon Mazzone is set to take part in the Men's Time Trial event alongside Tyler Hannay after Max Walker withdrew from the event.
