The Manx Lottery Trust has awarded a grant to South Ramsey Bowling Club through its Community Awards Scheme.
£5,000 has been given to help keep the grounds in better shape throughout the year, as it's one of the most used sporting facilities on the Island.
The funds will pay for a new fully automated sprinkler system on the club's playing surface, which is used regularly by the northern club and teams from all over the Island.
Greenkeeper Glynn Hargraves said crown green bowling has never been so popular and the bowls community will benefit greatly from green improvements.
