The Fire and Rescue Service is running the sessions to give people an idea of the physical requirements of the job.
Historically 40 per cent of applicants fail the physical assessment - the sessions are designed to give people advice on how to improve their fitness in order to pass.
The 15 minute bootcamps will take place throughout March and April at Douglas Fire Station with a view to filling vacancies Island wide.
