A book on the history of nursing and midwifery on the Island is being published this month.
'From Bedpans to Boardroom' highlights the diverse experiences had through the ages by both nurses and executive level decision makers.
The book, written by Amanda Sumner, includes chapters on nursing during wartime and the opening of the Island's first maternity ward, up to the Covid pandemic.
From November 29, it's available from Amazon for £24.99, with all profits being donated to the Manx National Heritage.
