Bomb squad coming to IOM

A bomb squad is on its way to the Isle of Man.

It follows what is believed to be an unexploded device discovered earlier today. 

Police have currently closed access to the Middle Farm Industrial estate.

The public is asked avoid the area as access will not be allowed.

Updates will be provided as to when the area is reopened.

It’a suspected that the item is related to unexploded ordnance which has lay dormant.  

However, authorities say Workers at the Incinerator may still access their site. 

If you work within any other area of the Middle Farm access will be refused.
