Manx students attending English universities will pay the same fees as any other student in England.
This week the UK Secretary of State for Education confirmed students from Crown Dependencies will be given home fee status like UK students for institutions in England for the next academic year.
Until now, some of those from the Island studying across had been charged international fees due to an anomaly which could've added tens of thousands of pounds to the cost of their place.
Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, says the news will give students on Island greater certainty when choosing where they want to study.
