A trip to the Island to visit the place a relative's ashes were scattered turned into a rescue mission yesterday.
Castletown and Port Erin coastguards were called out after a visitor hurt their leg near the Sloc.
When they arrived, they discovered they'd rescued one of her parents from the same place 14 years earlier.
Rescue teams placed the woman in a stretcher and hauled her to safety.
