A local charity has rescued a bird that got stuck in the front of a Range Rover.
The Manx Wild Bird Aid says the sparrowhawk ended up trapped by his leg as the car travelled through Santon, and was found by the driver when they arrived home minutes later.
Volunteers were there to help within half an hour and the bird was taken to the vets.
He had sustained some injuries but has since recovered and been released.
