Bird flu has been confirmed on the Isle of Man for the first time since August.
The government is asking the public not to touch any sick or dead birds, after the virus was found in two herring gulls found on Fleshwick beach last week.
No restriction zones or other measures have been introduced as the virus is not currently affecting kept of farmed birds.
It comes as England, Scotland and Wales are experiencing the biggest ever outbreak of the disease.
Anyone who finds a group of dead birds together should contact Animal Health on 685844 or email agriculture@gov.im.
