A biker has been killed in a road traffic collision near the fairy bridge.
Just before 8PM last night there was a crash involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a car on the Main Douglas to Ballasalla Road in Santon.
The biker received fatal injuries. The occupants of the Alpha Romeo were uninjured.
The road was closed for approximately 5 hours while Police conducted enquiries at the scene.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed.
Anybody who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the police.
