Big bird arrives in Castletown

A huge sculpture of a heron is being installed in Castletown today.

Social media users have been posting photos of the landmark which is more than 25 feet high.

Castletown commissioners won planning permission for the statue earlier this year.

It was created by artists Stephanie Quayle and Darren Jackson.
