Police believe the amount of drugs being brought into the Island isn't any higher than in other similar-sized countries.
Over the last year there has been many high-profile busts with thousands of pounds worth of drugs being seized by officers.
Yesterday two women from Liverpool appeared in court after £170,000 worth of illegal substances were recovered in Douglas.
It followed a week long operation dubbed Ring of Steel.
