Working and living conditions on Isle of Man registered ships are to be improved.
The Isle of Man has signed a declaration designed to improve the conditions for all seafarers.
The Declaration of Principles, first signed in 2003, has now been brought up to date with global developments.
Dick Welsh, Director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry says the tripartite agreement between the Isle of Man Government, the Isle of Man Shipping Association and the seafarers' representative unions is good news for everyone.
