There's good news for those claiming the government's winter heating bonus today.
Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson unveiled a £50 rise, taking the amount vulnerable people can claim to £400.
Today's budget also included plans to increase most benefits by last September's inflation figure.
But the Nursing Care Contribution and Maternity, Paternity and Adoption allowances will both go up by more than the inflation rate.
