A man who failed to declare a pension has been fined for benefits fraud.
53 year old Kevin Stephen Quirk, of Gelling’s Avenue in Port St Mary, was overpaid £3,992 between January 2022 and August last year.
Quirk claimed he'd thought the pension didn't matter because he was allowed substantial savings.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood fined him £1,000 as well as ordering him to pay £50 prosecution costs.
