The findings of a report which looked at introducing bendy buses on the Island has been made public.
Five bendy buses were tested on the Island’s roads earlier this year at a cost of £10,000.
However last week it was confirmed that the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure won’t buy the controversial articulated vehicles.
The report reveals low satisfaction rates from those surveyed during the trial period and suggests comments made by London mayor Boris Johnson in 2008 could have swayed public opinion.
Elsewhere the report states the road maintenance bill needed to accomodate the buses would have been too great.
