The Ben-my-Chree’s damaged stabilising fin will be fixed and ready for a re-fit by the end of June.
The vessel sustained damage to one of the two fins during heavy weather in early January, it was subsequently removed and sent away for repairs.
The work to reinstall the fin will take place in the quiet period after the TT fortnight from 19th to 21st June.
A revised sailing schedule will operate during this time; anyone set to be affected will be contacted with alternative sailing options.
Despite being one fin down, it hasn’t had an impact on the boats ability to sail or berth.
